Sullivan Running for Legislature

Loretta Sullivan of Apalachin, a Republican, has announced her candidacy for Tioga County District 4. Sullivan was employed by IBM and Fidelity Investments for a total of 28 years, holding positions as a business and systems analyst, financial analyst, personnel manager and project manager. She currently runs a commercial heating business with her husband, Kevin Lewis, Lewis Burner Service, LLC, and also is the bookkeeper for several small local companies. In addition, she worked at the Owego office of Jackson Hewitt this past tax season as a tax preparer.

"I have always wanted to get more involved in local government," stated Sullivan. "Now that my daughter is graduating from high school, and I don't work a 9 to 5 schedule, I have the time. I believe my experience in the private sector as well the experience I have running a business will enable me to help Tioga County move in a positive direction for the future."

Sullivan, and her family live in Apalachin.
