Lions Pancake Breakfast
The Owego Lions Club will hold an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on two Saturdays, May 10 and 17, from 6:30 to 10:30 am, at the Countryside Community Center, Sheldon Guile Blvd. (near the OFA) . The cost is $5 per person and free for children 5-years-old and under. There will also be a 50/50 raffle drawing and a Spring Raffle with a chance to win various gift baskets. The proceeds will benefit Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) "Campaign SightFirst II" program which leads the fight against preventable blindness. Since 1990, the program has provided funding to save the sight of more than 27 million people as well as improving eye care for hundreds of millions of people. Campaign SightFirst has awarded more than $211 million for projects in 90 countries. The Owego Lions continually provide eyeglasses for people throughout the community and have provided funds toward eye therapy cases for children. If you have any questions contact President Carla Eiklor at 659-4169.
