Lions Sponsor Peace Poster Contest
Apalachin Lions Club is sponsoring a Peace Poster Contest in two local schools - the Owego-Apalachin Middle School and the Vestal Middle School.
The theme of the 2008-09 Peace Poster Contest is Peace Begins with Me.
Students ages 11 through 13 are eligible to participate. Students select a medium as outlined in the contest rules and draw, paint, or sketch their interpretation of the theme. The deadline is October 12.
