![]() Thirty youth from Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary's, Apalachin, surrounding sites and other faiths, participated in the 30 Hour Famine from March 28 to 29, 2008. They went with no food for 30 hours to experience what hunger feels like. With the help of friends, family, neighbors, and the church community, they were able to send $2,618 to World Vision to help those that are hungry every day. Part of the experience was to see how much food could be bought with $5.00, sleep in a box, and to serve lunch at a local soup kitchen.
