In June 2007, I was invited to and tried out for the United States Field Hockey National Futures Team at Cornell College. In August, I was notified that I made the Region 4 Team. I am really excited about this opportunity. This Futures Team holds three hour practices twice a month through May and a Tournament in Oneonta, May 31st. Ten percent of the players are selected to play at the National Tournament at Virginia Beach on June 21st. 

 I have now agreed to attend a European Training Tour in England, Holland, and Belgium. I will be traveling with 35 other high school girls from across the United States for thirteen days, and train with the Dutch Olympic Team. 

 This past year I have been so blessed by my family, friends and community supporters. I am doing fund raising to help with the costs of the European trip.
