Homeschoolers' Talent Night and Coffeehouse, Rescheduled

The homeschoolers' Talent Night and Coffeehouse, sponsored by Greater Tioga County LEAH (Loving Education at Home), which was cancelled on February 22 due a snowstorm, has been rescheduled for  Friday, March 28, from 7:00 to 9:30 pm at the Owego Church of the Nazarene, on Rt. 17C , just west of Owego.

The night will feature musical acts, drama skits, dance, sign language
interpretations, poetry, and more. Home-baked goodies will be served, along with coffee, tea, cocoa, and soda.

There is no charge for entertainment or refreshments, but a free-will offering will be taken up to benefit the Bob and Lori Bricks family of Berkshire. Bob and Lori's  daughter, Amanda (Mandy), was seriously injured in a car crash on Route 38B in Union Center this past October.

Mandy is a homeschooled high school senior, who will be graduating this spring. She is still in the process of recovering from her injuries. The Tioga County homeschooling community would like to dedicate this
night to Mandy and her family.

For more information about this Talent Night, or homeschooling in general, please call Rebecca Kasperek at 687-2774.
