The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is hosting "Economic Forum 2008" on Thursday March 20, 2008 at the Owego Treadway Inn and Conference Center. The breakfast buffet will begin at 7:30 am with the program running from 8:00 to 10:00 am.

 The moderator for the program is Doug Barton, Director of Economic Development and Planning for Tioga County. A panel of speakers will include: Jason Larson, Operations Manager for Best Buy, Steve Gorney, President of S-go Consulting, Michael Copt, President of New Vision Industries, and Kathleen Horner, Executive Director of Tioga Opportunities Inc. The speakers will present information about their businesses and discuss the "economic outlook" for 2008.  

 The cost of the event is $16 per person for Tioga Chamber members, and $20 per person for non-chamber members. Reservations are required and the deadline for reservations is March 14. Payment arrangements must be made in advance of the event.
