Donald J. Faughnan's Eagle Scout Court of Honor took place on February 28 at the Tioga County Open Door Mission in Owego. 

 Don's Eagle Scout project was refurbishing the chapel at the Open Door Mission. The project was extensive, consisting of replacing the fluorescent lights with a ceiling fan and new lighting fixtures, putting up FRP panels over the lattice work on the top half of the wall, painting the room, installing a chair rail and book shelves, new carpeting donated by Schaffer Darpino Rugs and Gene Roma from Felix Roma's Bakery, patching holes in the ceiling and refinishing and hanging a wooden stained glass door. 

 The cost of the project, including all of the generous donations received, was over $3,000. Lowe's in Vestal gave Don deep discounts on all of the supplies which allowed him to really dramatically transform the room.
