Benefit Dinner on March 16
for Injured Helo Pilot

A benefit spaghetti dinner for US Navy helicopter pilot Lt. Matt Posniewski will be held on Sunday, March 16, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 pm at 207 Main Street in Owego.

The 37-year-old pilot suffered a broken neck and spinal cord injuries last August when he fell 16 feet from a ladder while trimming a tree at his home in Endicott. Posniewski had recently moved to the Southern Tier to work as a test pilot for the Marine One Presidential Helicopter program at Lockheed Martin in Owego. Posniewski and his wife, Denise, have two small boys, Logan and Evan.

The benefit event will also include a Silent Auction, a 50/50 Raffle every 30 minutes, a Live Auction, a Cash Bar, live music by Masterpiece from 1:30 to 3:30, and a Bake Sale.

The cost for the dinner is a free will donation.
