Monte
Carlo Night Set for March 8
Members of the Owego Fire Department and the Owego VFW Post 1371 Men's Auxiliary have again teamed up to host their annual Spring Monte Carlo Night, Saturday, March 8, from 6:00 to 11:00 pm. The event will take place at the Owego VFW Post 1371 Hall, 207 Main Street, Owego. "Last year we held two Monte Carlo Nights raising valuable funding for our organizations," said Tom Donovan, III, President of the Owego Fire Department's Croton Hose #3 and Village of Owego 3rd Ward Trustee. "We hope this spring's Monte Carlo will be as successful as last year's." Proceeds from the Monte Carlo will benefit the Owego Fire Department Training Tower Fund and the Owego VFW Post 1371 Men's Auxiliary operating fund. Both organizations will split the proceeds. All are invited to attend the event. Games will include Black Jack, Beat the Dealer, Money Wheel, Chuck-of-Luck, 50/50, and Easter Ham Raffle. Food, drink and entertainment will also be provided. There will be a $5 cover charge. You must be 21 or older to attend. The
