Auditions for Ti-Ahwaga Players

The Ti-Ahwaga Players are looking for men and women of all ages to audition for their upcoming production of Six Degrees of Separation.  The production will run the weekends of March 28, April 4 and April 11, with rehearsals beginning in late February.  Auditions will be held at The Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center at 42 Delphine St in Owego, on Monday evening, January 28, starting at 6pm.

Six Degrees of Separation is a witty, sometimes tragic yet ultimately sincere commentary on what motivates people in their desire for wealth, social standing, comfort, and meaningful human connection. The play can be summed up in a few sentences that the character Ouisa Kittredge directs at the audience: "I read somewhere that everybody on this planet is separated by only six other people. Six degrees of separation....It's a profound thought....How every person is a new door, opening up into other worlds."

Those wishing to audition should have a monologue, resume and be prepared to read from the script.  You can schedule an audition time by calling the theater at 687-2130.

For more information contact Joseph Kane, Executive Director, Ti-Ahwaga Community Players at 687-2130.
