Volunteers Need to Help Flood Victims

Can you volunteer to help flood victims?

Several Tioga County families and individuals are still displaced hoping to get back into their homes.

A work session will take place on  Saturday, May 12, from 9:00 am until the end of day (about 4:00 pm). Workers will meet at St. Patrick's Church Parking Lot, 300 Main Street in Owego.

Coffee and donuts will be provided before workers are divided among houses. Lunch will be brought to workers at the house they are  working in.

Tasks will include gutting rooms, hanging sheet rock, spackling, replacing insulation, and much more. If you don't know how, then you can be paired with someone to help you learn.

If you can help, call Angela Klopf at Tioga Outreach Center of Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga at 1-866-326-1373 or 565-7580.
