Pageants, Two Days
Local Girl Wins Top Title
Rebecca won Beauty for her age division, and was selected as a judge's choice and awarded a trophy. She was recognized for her participation in collecting more than 130 coloring books, crayons and reading books. On April 1, also in Danville, PA, Rebecca participated in a double header pageant, two separate systems each with their own set of judges and awards, the Miss and Master Sweet Pea and the Miss and Master American Star. Contestants competed in Beauty, Casual Wear and Outfit of Choice. Both these pageants are all natural not allowing any makeup, fake hair or tans. They are judged on natural beauty, personality and style. Rebecca won the title of Miss Sweet Pea Princess, and also prettiest smile award in the Miss and Master Sweet Pea pageant. In the Miss and Master American Star pageant she was given the top honor of Grand Supreme in the 0-4 age category. She was crowned and given an embroidered sash and a three-foot trophy Rebecca will compete next in Syracuse, on June 24 at the Magical Moments New York State Pageant, where she will be competing as Miss Owego, a hometown queen.
