On Saturday, April 21, the Newark Valley Historical Society will host a Benefit Auction & Desserts at the Newark Valley Fire Station, 7151 State Route 38, just south of the village at the Route 38B intersection.  Come at 6:00 pm for dessert and a preview of the items. Bob Connelly will begin the auction at 7:00 pm. There will also be a Silent Auction throughout the evening.

 Funds raised from this event will help support the programs and activities provided by the non-profit organization, including school tours at the Bement-Billings Farmstead Museum and the free "Depot Friday Nights" which begin June 22 at the Depot in Newark Valley.
