• Members Retire
 The month of April brings retirement to three of our members. John Scott officially retired on March 29 after 40 years with Lockheed Martin, IBM, and Loral. John will be kept busy with his position of Fire Coordinator for Tioga County.

 Dave Hogg retires from Binghamton University after 27 years. Dave was the maintenance supervisor of refrigeration and air conditioning. 

 John Hickey retires from the NYS Department of Corrections after 25 years. John was a correction officer at Sullivan Correctional Facility.

•  Training
 Two of Campville members completed the School Bus Rescue course given at Apalachin Fire Department. Congratulations to Mark Daniel and John Hickey.

 Our members spent a night training in the maze at the Vestal Training Facility and the following week training in the burn building at the Vestal Training Facility. 

 The squad training for the month was the OSHA Bloodborne pathogens.
Campville hosted a legal issues class for 80+ fire department members and commissioners on the last weekend in March.  There are numerous new laws that have come into effect for the fire departments and this was an opportunity to learn about them and ask questions. 

• Pancake Breakfast
 Our semi-annual Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, April 22, from 8:00 to 11:30 am, at Station 1.  We look forward to seeing all our neighbors there.
