Boater Safety Course Offered

A Boater Safety course will be held on Saturday, April 21, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in room 101 of the Tioga County Office Building.

The course is free of charge and is open to youth that plan to operate motor boats, and adults who plan to operate a personal watercraft (PWC). The minimum age of youth that wish to participate is 10 years old. A certified instructor will teach the course. There is a class maximum of 24 participants. Participants should bring a lunch.

Registrations must be made by Friday, April 13, 2007 by calling the Tioga County, Cornell Cooperative Extension Office at 687-4020.
