Group's 30-Hour Famine
Twenty two youth from Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary's Church in Apalachin, participated in the 30- Hour Famine from February 23 to February 24. They went with little or no food for 30 hours to experience what hunger feels like. With the help of friends, family, neighbors and the church community, they were able to send more than $1,765 to World Vision to help those that are hungry every day. Part of the experience was to see how much food they could buy with $5.00, to sleep in a box, and to serve lunch at a local soup kitchen. The youth group would like to express their thanks to who helped make this possible. The
