Receives $500 Grant
for Eagle Project 
Mike Poffenbarger (far right) received a grant for his Eagle Scout project from the Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation. Michael Poffenbarger of Owego BSA Troop 37 has been awarded a $500 grant for his Eagle Scout Project by the Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation, Inc. Mike's project improved the Owego Little League facilities. Mike is a senior at Owego Free Academy and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Poffenbarger of Owego. Mike was mentored by his father, his fellow scouts, and by Unit Scout Master Kevin Cumm. The grant was awarded and certificates given out on January 25, which was "Thank Your Mentor Day" at the Bassett Foundation headquarters at 34 1/2 Lake Street in Owego. The
