You'll be trained by Umpire in Chief Ben Dragon and his experienced umpires at a clinic at 9:00 am Saturday, April 7, at Hyde Park. Let Ben know you're interested on bdragon@stny.rr.com. Volunteer umpires can get rule updates, interpretations, and useful tips by visiting the Little League Registry online at www.littleleague.org/umpires • Pitch Count Regulation
Starting with the 2007 season, pitchers in all divisions of Little League will have specific limits for each game, based on their age. League age 10 and under – 75 pitches per day. League age 11-12 – 85 pitches per day. The number of pitches delivered in a game will determine the amount of rest the player must have before pitching again.
