Woman Sings at U.N. and
Radio City Music Hall
The following evening, Mr. Morricone, 78, made his official American concert debut at Radio City Music Hall, leading the Canticum Novum Singers and the Roma Sinfionetta Orchestra. Over the last 40 years, he has written the music for over 400 movies including The Mission and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. On February 25, he received an Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement. Dianne stated "Working under Mr. Morricone was an unforgettable experience, not only because of his amazing career and exceptional music, but also because of his fiery temper and inability to speak English." Dianne has been performing in New York City for seven years with the Canticum Novum Singers and the New York Choral Society. She has toured China with the Choral Society and performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and many churches in Manhattan, Westchester County and Connecticut. She began singing as a student in the Montrose Area School District and later sang at Penn State University. She is an accomplished pianist, having studied for many years with Barbara Garges of Apalachin. Dianne resides in Staten Island, NY and works in human resources for The Capital Group Companies, an investment management firm in Manhattan. She is the daughter of Ruth and Alan Chase of Little Meadows.. The
