AARP has the following classes scheduled for the Driver Safety Program (DSP). Any licensed driver may  take course to receive a reduction in their insurance premium and/or point reduction.

 The following two-day classes are available; classes are held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm:

  March 8 and 9 - Berkshire Methodist Church; 

 April 2 and 3 - Nichols Methodist

 April 16 and 17 -  Newark Valley Congregational

 May14 and 15 - Nichols Masonic Lodge.

 An one-day class will be held from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (with a half hour lunch) on  March 24, at the Owego Elks Lodge.

 To register for the classes listed above, call Norma Sue Brown, Assistant State Coordinator, at 687-3599. 

  There will also be a two-day class on May 10 and 11at the Apalachin Methodist Church on Main Street. If you are interested in this class, call Polly at 687-3227.

 The fee is $10.00 which covers the total eight hours of instruction. The entire eight hours must be attended to be eligible for the  certificate. Payment is due on the first day of class. 

 It is anticipated that following the above dates there will be evening classes in Owego, as well as additional  daytime classes in Owego, Waverly, and eastern Tioga County.
