Ribbon
Cutting for Restaurant
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last month to celebrate the opening of Pane Vino Trattoria, a new restaurant on Route 17C in Owego. Pane Vino Trattoria specializes in homemade authentic Italian pasta, chicken, steak and veal dishes. The chef, Claudio Roma, offers daily specials and complimentary homemade fresh bread with every meal. The restaurant is owned by Anthony Paniccia
and Jonathan Martyanik (former owner of Jonathans in Endwell). Pane Vino
in Italian literally translates "bread" and "wine. A "Trattoria" is an
Italian restaurant more akin to an eating club than a conventional restaurant.
