Cutting for Hampton Inn
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, February 6, to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Hampton Inn on Route 17C in Owego. Tours of the new hotel will go from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm on February 6. At 5:00 pm, a special reception (invitation only) will be kicked off with the ribbon cutting by Tioga County Chamber of Commerce's President, Martha Sauerbrey. The Hampton Inn Owego is the first Hilton product in the Owego area. The 66 room, 3 story hotel is located at 1030 State Route 17C near the Owego Treadway Inn Suites and the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel is operated and owned by Owego Associates. The new hotel will include amenities such as the complimentary On The House Hot Breakfast served daily, complimentary high-speed Internet access, complimentary local telephone calls made from the room and the brand's 100% Hampton satisfaction guarantee which guarantees each guest full satisfaction or their night's stay is free.
