• Santa Visits the Library 
December 9, Saturday, 10-11:30 am
 Santa Claus will visit the Apalachin Library on December 9. He will arrive by fire truck instead of the usual reindeer!

 Children of all ages are invited to come to the library and tell Santa Claus what they want for Christmas, receive a special treat, and have refreshments.  

 And parents - don't forget to bring the camera!

 The Apalachin Lions Club will also be collecting toys and accepting donations of non- perishable food.

• Holiday Schedule
 The library will be closed on Saturday, December 23 and Monday December 25. 

 On December 26 through December 29, the library will be open only from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. 

 The library will also be closed Saturday December 30 and Monday January 1, 2007.   

• Mystery Book Club
December 11, Monday, 7 pm
 The Mystery Book Club readers will discuss Ladies Lunch by Patricia O'Brien. New members are always welcome to join. Ask for a copy of the book at the library desk.

• Books Du Jour
 Books du jour will not meet in December. They will meet again on January 29 at 7 pm to talk about The Most Wanted by Jacqueline Mitchard.  New member are always welcome,  ask for a copy of the book at the desk.

• Story Hour
Tuesday & Thursday, 10:30-11:15
 Story hour will continue during the month of December each Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30-11:15 am except December 26 and 28. The regular schedule will resume on  Tuesday morning, January 2, 2007.

• Support Your Library 
 It's  fund raising time again. Your support enables the library to provide you with the kind of books and services that you are used to.
