Lions Peace Poster Contest Winners

The winners of the Apalachin Lions Club 19th Annual Peace Poster Contest are Jessica Kemmerling, a student at the Owego Middle School, and Anna Kuchera, a student at the Vestal Middle School.
The two students and their parents were guests of honor at the Lions Club meeting on October 25.
The poster contest is sponsored by the Apalachin Lions Club and Lions International.
The winning posters will now go on for judging at the Lions district level and if selected will be forwarded to Lions International for judging against entries from over 150 countries of the world wide Lions organization.
Apalachin Lions event chair Terry White presented each of the winners with a $50 savings bond. He also expressed the Apalachin Lions appreciation to teachers Sue Anderson from Owego Middle School and Amy Panella from Vestal Middle School for the time and effort they put into the project.
