• Little People/Big People
Tues or Thurs, 10:30-11:30 am
  This program for 3- and 4-year-olds features short stories, nature walks and crafts. $2 members, $5 non-members. Registration required.

• Bingo
October 7 and 21, Saturday
 Doors open at Noon. Early Bird Bonanza at 12:45 pm. Regular Bingo at 1 pm. Cash prizes.  All paper.  Proceeds benefit the Waterman Center.  $3 Admission.  

• Full Moon Hike 
October 7, Saturday, 6 pm 
 A moonlit hike under the Full Harvest Moon. $3 members, $5 non-members. Registration required.

• Ride the Susquehanna Shuttle
October 10, Tuesday, 5:30 pm
 One last ride on the river before the  the boat is put away for the year. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the river in fall. The boat leaves the dock at the Waterman Center Hiawatha Island mainland at the western end of Marshland Road in Apalachin. Registration is required as seating is limited. $5.50 members, $6.50 non-members. 

• History of the Glen
October 14, Saturday, 9:30 - 11:30 am
 History of the IBM Glen Walk with Barbara and Alan Jones, who were part of the group that saved the trees from being cut in 2000. Wear shoes or boots suitable for crossing the Gray's Creek Stream. Moderate hike. For adults and children 8 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. $2 members, $4 non-members, $1.00 for children.

• Volunteer Naturalist Training
October 18, Wednesday, 9:30 am
 If you would like to help with fall programs, come to a meeting and see where your talents can be shared.

• Halloween Hikes
October 28, Saturday, 6 - 8:30 pm
 Meet a bear, an opossum, a skunk, and others along a candlelit hike. There will also be stories by the fire, face painting, games and more. Wear a costume or come as yourself. Hikes leave every ten minutes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Registration is highly recommended. $5 members, $7 non-members, children 3 & under free.
