Lions Flood Disaster Relief Grant

 Lions Clubs International Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to local Lions District 20-E2, which serves ten counties and 50 clubs in the region. 

 The award is intended to assist residents of Apalachin, Owego, Nichols, Waverly, 
and neighboring communities in Tioga County, New York, who were affected by the recent flooding. 

 The grant is designed to help provide short-term needs for food, clothing, medicine, and cleaning supplies, which will be administered by the Lions Clubs of Tioga County. 

 For individuals seeking assistance, the application process would start by contacting either Tioga Opportunities at 687-4222, ext. 302, or one of the following Lions Club members:
