Tioga Habitat Next Partner Family

Tioga County Habitat for Humanity announced that it will partner with Chris Patitucci and his family to build a home for Chris, his wife, LeAnn, and their four children, Antonio, 9, Loucinda, 7, Michael, 5,  and Angelina, 2. Board President Bob Henrich today presented the Patitucci's with a letter of acceptance formalizing the partnership and setting forth each party's responsibilities.

Construction is expected to begin on the new home, to be located on  Lackawanna  Avenue in the town of Owego, in the next few months. The family is currently living with LeAnn's father in Nichols NY.

Chris and LeAnn were born and raised in the local area and attended school in Nichols and Tioga Center. Chris, an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Army, was injured in the line of duty while serving with the 58th Combat Engineer Company in Iraq. Both are currently employed by area firms.

Tioga County Habitat for Humanity is seeking churches, businesses, civic groups, and individuals who would like to become part of making the dream of a simple, decent place to live come true for one area family. Please contact Marge Christenson or Bob Henrich at 687-1140.
