Home School Open House

 If you have ever wondered what home schooling is all about, come and get a glimpse at the Greater Tioga County Loving Education at Home (LEAH) open house. The event will take place on Monday, May 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Countryside Community Center; 9 Sheldon Guile Boulevard in Owego. 

 Everyone is  invited to come and learn what the New York State requirements are, where to get supply and curriculum materials, how to include group learning and extracurricular activities, and what is available for special needs and high school students.

 Veteran home educators and home schooled students will be presenting informative displays, curriculum and display resources, samples of students' work, activities for kids, and free refreshments.
