Driver Safety Class Offered

 An AARP Driver Safety Class will be held May 18 and 19 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Apalachin United Methodist Church, 303 Pennsylvania Avenue in Apalachin. The class is a refresher course and emphasizes safe driving skills and changes in traffic conditions.

 Course tuition is $10.00 per person. New York is one of the many states in which insurance companies are required to give discounts on insurance premiums to drivers who complete the eight-hour course.

 Contact the church office at 625-2733 or 687-3227 to register for the class. The class is limited in size and there will be a stand-by list.
