Tuesdays, 10 - 11 am
This program for 3- and 4-year-olds features short stories,
nature walks and crafts. $2 members, $5 non-members. Registration
required.
• Volunteer Naturalist Meeting
April 19, Wednesday, 9:30-10:30am
Discuss opportunities for helping out at Waterman Center.
• 18th Annual Earth Fest
April 22, Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm
at Broome Community Ice Center
Binghamton
Highlights include: Native American crafts and demonstrations,
children's activities, natural building materials exhibits and architects,
demonstrations by the Drumcliffe School of Irish Dance, alternative fuel
vehicles, the Audubon Society, various arts and crafts, a bear program
by the Waterman Center, and much more. $1.00 or donation to CHOW.
• Saturday Afternoon Bingo
April 22, Saturday, 1pm
Doors open at Noon. Early Bird Bonanza at 12:45 pm. $3 admission.
Cash prizes. All paper. Food and beverages available.
• NYS Safe Boating Class
April 24, May 1, 8, 15, 6:30 - 9 pm
This class is a preparation for the License for Personal Watercraft
test. This is required for youths ages 10-18 to receive their license.
Book and materials will be provided. Test for licensing will be the last
day of class. Course is being taught by Waterman Volunteer Dick Place.
Registration required. $12 per student for use of building.
