Ti-Ahwaga Players Present "True West"

Ti-Ahwaga Community Players will present the Sam Shepard play, True West, Shepard's breakthrough work in which experimental drama was successfully melded with the more conventional elements of modern theater. Though True West is one of Shepard's most accessible dramas, it retains the unmistakable signature of his earlier adventurous work. In it, we see the story of two brothers: one a harried screenwriter, the other an impulsive eccentric, as the push and pull each other to the breaking point.

True West will be performed at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center at 42 Delphine Street in Owego, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm from March 31 to April 9. Tickets are $12 and $15 and can be reserved by calling 607-687-2130.
