History came alive for the students of the Owego Middle School last month when Patricia Yoder Clark presented a dramatic monologue as Elizabeth Cady Stanton, a 19th Century advocate of women’s rights. Dressed in period costume, Yoder became Stanton, and explained to the children how she fought for women’s rights.
After the presentation, the students asked Ms. Stanton questions, which Ms. Yoder answered in character.
