Group Sponsors Talk about 
"Conflict Resolution"

 Tioga Peace & Justice will be sponsoring a talk by Kathleen McKenna chiefly about "Conflict Resolution" on April 30 at 7:00 pm at the Tioga Trails in Owego. The focus of her talk will be Negotiation Strategies for Peace: An Examination of Possibilities for Peace Interpersonally and Internationally. She will draw heavily on Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement without Giving In?, by Roger Fisher and William Ury. They are, or were, with the Harvard Negotiation Project. She encourages people to read the book first if they'd like, so they can engage in conversation about it. She'll also look at the strategies used by some Nobel Laureates, whose strategies parallel those recommended in the book.
