"Artful Berry" Contest

 The Tioga County Historical Society is holding their annual "Artful Berry" Exhibit and Contest and looking for entries in both the adult and youth categories. Artists, both professional and amateur, are invited to participate showing their creativity in the use of the strawberry. Entries will be on display at the museum from May 13 through July 8.

 Last year's entries included strawberries knitted in a sweater, quilted in a wall hanging, in mosaics around a mirror and painted both on canvas and glass.

 Entries will be judged and winners announced on June 18th. The winner in each category will  receive a gift certificate to be used at the museum gift shop.
