Apalachin Lions Plan 50th Anniversary Event

 On April 29, 2006, the Owego Treadway Inn will be the venue for a dinner dance celebrating the 50th year of service of the Apalachin Lions Club. More than 125 members, past members, Lions dignitaries, and community leaders will be attending this event, which will feature dinner, short ceremonies, and dancing.

 The cost will be $26.50 per person for dinner. Reservations may be made by calling Lion Vince Hawley (607) 625-2365 before April 10.

 The Apalachin Lions Club has been involved in furnishing time, talent and treasure to nearly every youth, civic, and senior citizen project in Apalachin NY, and Little Meadows PA.. In addition to assisting organizations,  individual help has been provided, through the Christmas Basket program, Back to School Program, assistance with eye exams and glasses, numerous other health related needs, as well as nearly every other type of situation which requires a helping hand.
