Out with the Old, In with the New

Bob Carlton demolishes the old Vestal Elks Lodge 2508 on Route 434 in Vestal. The Vestal Elks Lodge 2508 was chartered in April 1974 and purchased the building shortly after that. The building was originally built as a Barden Homes display home in the late 1950s. The Elks outgrew the building, and a new, larger facility was recently constructed behind the old building. The new building can be seen in the background in the above photo. The grand opening of the new building will take place on Sunday, March 19.
