MARCH 18 - SATURDAY
Soup & Salad - 4:30 to 6:30 pm, First United Methodist Church, 71 Mail St., Newark Valley. Free will offering. Free Read will also be there.

End of Winter Party - 7 pm, VFW, Owego. Features singer Carol Canfield, DJ, Karaoke. Snacks served for $3 per person (jumbo chicken wings and snacks). Free admission.

Naturalist Club Meeting - 7:15 pm at Vestal Library. Dr. Firenze of BCC and Binghamton U. will speak on evolution and his experiences in Africa. 

MARCH 25 - SATURDAY
Rummage & Bake Sale - 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Little Meadows (PA) United Methodist Church. Bag Sale from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Lunch available. Proceeds from bake sale go to Sky Lake campership fund. Church is 7 miles south of Rt 434 (Apalachin) on Pennsylvania Ave.

Sportsmen Raffle & Dinner Dance - at Candor American Legion. Dinner 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Dance until 12:00 am. Featuring Steve Southworth and the Roack-a-Billy Rays with special guest Frank Garrison from Survivor Africa.

All Nations Ball - 6:00 pm, Polish Community Centrum, 347 Prospect St., Binghamton. Cash Bar 6 pm, Dinner 6:30, Dancing 7:30 to 10:30. Silent Auction. Sponsored by American Civic Assoc., $26 per person. Call 723-9419 for tickets/information.

Gem, Mineral,and Fossil Show - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, at JC Sr. Center, 30 Brocton Ave, Johnson City. Door prizes, exhibits, silent auction. Food available. Sponsored by NY Southern Tier Geology Club. Show continues on Sunday, 4/2

Catatonk Creek Regatta - Registration at 9:30am, Race Begins at 11:00 am. An 11 mile course starting at the Candor American Legion and ending at the Talcott Street bridge in Owego. Pork Chop BBQ at 11:00 am in Candor.
