Strawberry Splash!
2006 Strawberry Festival Logo Contest

 The theme for this year's  Strawberry Festival Logo Contest is  Strawberry Splash.  The winning logo will be used on festival T-shirts and posters. Artists may submit as many entries as they wish. Designs must be original work, not appearing elsewhere.

 Entries may be any size or shape appropriate for a T-shirt front (no smaller than 6 X 6 and no larger than 12 X 12). Any appropriate medium may be used, however, no paste-ups will be allowed. 

 The following phrases must appear in the design: The 26th Annual Strawberry Festival, Owego, NY  2006

 Designs should consist of at most four colors, one color being the T-shirt background and the other three being standard ink colors (no shading or blending allowed). Clean, bright designs free of small detail reproduce the best on cloth.

 Submitted entries are required to be in final, camera-ready form. Entries may be monochrome or color, but should indicate how color will be used in the final design. Do not sign your entry!  Attach an envelope to the back of each entry and include a note with your name, address, and telephone number.

 All entries become the exclusive property of the Owego Strawberry Festival Committee. All entries are due at the Tioga County Council on the Arts, 179 Front St., Owego, NY 13827 by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 24, 2006. The winning entry will be chosen by Monday, April 3, 2006. The winner will receive a $100 cash award. The Owego Strawberry Festival Committee may request modification to the original design.

 Entries not selected may be picked up at the Tioga County Council on the Arts, after April 7, 2006 or will be returned by mail if accompanied by a SASE.
