Free Money-Saving Workshop

 You may be able to save hundreds of dollars a year by using the tips you'll get in the free EmPower New York "Making Ends Meet Workshop" being offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County (CCE Tioga) from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Friday, February 17, at the Tioga County Office Building, rooms 107-108, 56 Main Street, Owego. 

 The workshop will show you how to get more for your money by identifying your spending and controlling the things you can change. For example, if you spend $1.25 a day for a coffee or soda from a machine at work five days a week, you could save $250 dollars a year simply by bringing it from home. 

 That's an extra $250 in your pocket from just one tip, and the workshop is full of them.
