Garrett Completes Basic Training

 Private  Jesse Garrett, a member of the Apalachin Fire Department for three years, graduated from Army basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, on Friday, November 4. 

 Pvt. Garrett received the Base Commanders Award for Military Excellence, given to the individual who demonstrates a high level of discipline and outstanding military knowledge. He is continuing his training as a Combat Medic at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.
