• Indoor Skills Clinics
To develop softball and baseball players for the 2006 season, Owego Little League is conducting four, four-hour indoor skills clinics at the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club on the first two Sunday afternoons of October and November. There is no cost to parents. Players who are league ages 9 to 12 for next season are eligible. How Can Parents Help? Sign up your player. Take him/her to their clinics. Stay. Offer to help the clinic staff.

• Girls Softball Skills Clinic
November 6, Sunday, 1 - 5 pm
Those who missed the October 2 program should sign up with League Safety Officer and Program Coordinator Coach Mark Warfle 687-1586 or visit mwarfle@ithaca.edu.

The program includes age appropriate training in hitting, running, fielding, throwing and pitching and an indoor game to apply what has been learned at the skill stations.

• More Training Programs?
If the October and November programs are successful, Owego Little League will sponsor free skills clinics in January and February.
