Mud & Fire Potters to Participate
in Susquehanna County's Artists' Open House
Ruth Cohen and Archie Johnson, owners of Mud
& Fire Potters of Little Meadows, fired their Noborigama kiln September
24 through 25. Volunteers helped stoke the kiln with wood every few minutes
until Cone 10 was reached (approximately 2350 degrees Fahrenheit). The
kiln was opened and unloaded a week later on October 1. Pictured above:
