Indian Summerfest in Owego - Oct 15 

 Owego's First Annual "Indian Summerfest" will take place on Saturday, October 15, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The streets and storefronts will be festively decorated with corn stalks, pumpkins, and scarecrows, and there will be live music, plenty of good food, special sales at the stores, and many other special events.

 Musicians providing entertainment include the Morgan String Band and   the Garafolo Brothers. 

 There will be a Chicken BBQ at the American Legion, Pumpkin Chipotle Soup at the Cellar Restaurant, an Indian Summer Luncheon at the Elks Lodge, and Becky's Apple Dumplings at The Hand Of Man. The Country Decor Shop will feature candy apples from the Country Wagon and The GiddyBird will be serving goodies from Everybody's Country Store. Enjoy mulled cider and donuts at The Rose Petal & delicious gourmet snacks at Simply Elegant. East Of The Sun will be hosting a Wine Tasting and many other businesses also have special events and sales planned. 

 A pumpkin painting class by artist Michelle Cady will be held at the Tioga Art Council from 10:30 to 11:30. Marie Calandra, "The Cookie Lady," will be face painting throughout the day at 190 Front Street.
