Geology Club Offers Free Workshop, Program

 The New York Southern Tier Geology Club will have a workshop at 6:00 pm and a meeting at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 10, at the Johnson City Senior Center, 30 Brocton Avenue in Johnson City.

 After the meeting, there will be a program called "Geology, Travel, and Writing: Quite a Mix" by local author Patricia Barnes-Svarney. She will bring rocks she has collected and photos and discuss how she integrates this into her science and science-fiction writing.
