Lou Stark Receives Award

Lou Stark, of Nichols, (center) last month received an award for his dedication and loyalty to the Tioga County Democratic Committee for more than 30 years. Stark, who also received a gift certificate for dinner at the Owego Treadway Inn, is 86 years old and has chosen to retire as Town Democratic Chair from the Town of Nichols. The award was presented to Stark at the Democratic Committee's annual BBQ in Hickories Park. Pictured above are Lou Stark and his wife and their daughter-in-law, Jean Stark (right) of Nichols.
