Free Seminars Offered 

 A series of free seminars is being offered by the Department of Aging at Tioga Opportunities in Owego. The seminars are open to the public. 

 The seminars being offered are:

• Tips for the Late Blooming Handy Woman - from 12:30 to 2:00 pm on September 15. Presented by John Delafield, Home Repair Coordinator for the First Ward Action Council of Broome County.

 The next three seminars are presented by Robert Stezzi from the Better Business Bureau:

• Identity Theft and Protecting Your Home - 12:00 Noon to 12:30 pm, September 19

• Predatory Lending - 12 Noon to 12:30 pm, October 25

• Charitable Giving - 12 Noon to 12:30 pm, November 16

 All seminars are at the Countryside Community Center, 9 Sheldon Guile Boulevard in Owego. Reservations are not required for the seminars. For more information, call 687-4120, ext. 324.

 Participants are encouraged to have lunch at the Dinner Bell facility and stay for the presentations. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and the suggested donation is $3.00 for those over 60, and $4.75 for those under 60. Walk-ins not having lunch are welcome to attend the seminar only.
