Apalachin Lions Club Sponsors 
Peace Poster Contest at OA, Vestal Schools

 The Apalachin Lions Club is sponsoring the 2005-06 Lions International Peace Poster Contest in the Owego-Apalachin and Vestal School District.

 The theme for this year's Peace Poster Contest is Peace Without Borders.  Students, ages 11 through 13, are eligible to participate. Students select a medium as outlined in the contest rules and draw, paint, or sketch their interpretation of the theme.

 Children who are interested in entering the contest should get in touch with the contact person in their school: Sue Anderson at the Owego Apalachin Middle School or Leigh Kaminsky at the Vestal Middle School.

 The deadline for the contest is October 14, 2005.
