Jennifer Milspaw, daughter of Laura and Terry Milspaw, was crowned Little Miss Apalachin 2005 on Saturday, June 11, at the Apalachin Firemen's Field Days. She attends Apalachin Elementary School.

 Runner-up for Little Miss Apalachin is Alexis Brink, daughter of Pegg and Todd Brink. Alexis is the granddaughter of Esther Brink of Endicott and Phyllis Treadwell of Apalachin. She attends Apalachin Elementary School.

NOTE: need to get names of Jennifer's other grandparents - names were illegible in press release. Call Debbie or Paul at 625-3604 The judges of the contest were Cathy Sorber, Apalachin library librarian; Caroline Crescent, Apalachin Post Master; and Jan Warner, Apalachin Fire Department Captain.

 The contest was open to 8- and 9-year-old girls who reside within the Apalachin Fire Department District. The girls were judged on communications, skills, appearance, and personality.

 Master of Ceremonies for the vent was Jay Manarky of Owego.
