Assemblyman Gary D. Finch (R,C-Springport) reminds constituents about a new Do Not Call registry for people with cell phones. Within several weeks, cell phone numbers will be released to telemarketers, who will then have the ability to call consumers. In an attempt to avoid these unwanted calls, Assemblyman Finch is urging all interested constituents to call the federal Do Not Call registry at (888) 382-1222 or go online at www.donotcall.gov, and list their cell phone number. That cellular phone will then be enrolled for a five-year period on the national registry.
